Our Approach to Training and Psychological Testing

Psychological test training is frequently costly in terms of time. Employers find it difficult to cope without the services of HR staff over one week. Training is also intensive and demanding, so that people are unable to cope with the on-going demands of work whilst coaching is taking place. The course is frequently presented upon a pass-or-fail basis, including a test, which generates uncertainty among participants.

For these reasons we provide an in-house series of modules (up to five days for larger numbers of participants) spread over a longer period of time, for example spread over a calendar month or at the rate of one day per week. The modules can also be arranged in a format requested to meet client needs. Our open courses are also split to reduce client time away from work and accommodation costs. On-going help is available over the telephone for those who use the distance-learning package.

These arrangements ensure the training makes the minimum necessary demands upon your time and will enable you to continue working with as little disruption to normal business commitments as possible.

You will also have more time to complete the assessments required for the Certificate of Competence. Everyone completes a personal profile of work, designed to be job-related where possible, for both future reference and to demonstrate the BPS elements of competence. You will have greater opportunity for understanding concepts and for the personal support of your course tutor.
